With a reputation for responding to the site, whether parkland or urban garden, the practice strives to enhance built form in ways that balance innovation with hard-earned knowledge and an ability to create beautiful enduring outcomes for their clients. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, DBS is looking for an exerpeinced Landscape Architect, with 2-3 years experience in a similar role, to join the team.
About the role _
- Develop site plans, landscape designs, and specifications for various projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for outdoor spaces.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
- Preparation of concept plans, tender documentation, client presentations and proposals, using Vectorworks, Indesign and Photoshop.
- Client consultation and documentation of site and client meetings.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and sustainability standards are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and regulations.
- Research for specific projects as well as researching for general design and horticultural knowledge.
- Organisation of sub-contractor quotes.
About you _
- Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or related field.
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role in the industry.
- Strong horticultural knowledge.
